Seed film coating is done by applying a thin specialized paint layer to the seeds. This treatment has several objectives: improving seed sowing, incorporating crop protection agents, minimizing dust, ensuring optimal distribution of (biological) active components during sowing, and increasing the visibility of the seed in the ground. Workers are minimally exposed to crop protection agents because the active ingredients are safely attached to the seed with a top layer that prevents the agents from being released.
Our product is MicroBind, a dust-free film coating for seeds, often including a fungicide or insecticide to protect the seedlings from soil-borne diseases and/or pests.
